Rice will be ready for Lions
DECLAN RICE is expected to report for England duty despite his injury scare.
The Arsenal midfielder Rice came off at the end of his side’s 2-0 win over West Ham with a back injury.
And manager Mikel Arteta voiced concerns about whether he would be fit for the Three Lions.
But Rice is expected to join up at St George’s Park today for the friendly with Wales and then the World Cup qualifier in Latvia.
But there was less good news for Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard, who has withdrawn from Norway’s squad to face Israel and New Zealand.
Odegaard hurt ligaments in his left knee and Arsenal are awaiting scans with the Norway midfielder spotted leaving with a brace on his leg.
