DECCERS! Ode: We’ll start firing
MARTIN ODEGAARD has warned Arsenal’s title rivals that they are nowhere near their best form yet.
Odegaard has helped Arsenal start their season with two straight wins as they strive to scrap it out with reigning champions Manchester City.
But the Gunners skipper
(right) believes there is more to come as the new signings settle in and
Arsenal find their best formation and performance levels. He said: “The start of the season is always tricky.
“It takes a bit of time before everyone finds their rhythm.”
The Norway international scored the decisive penalty in 10-man Arsenal’s battling win over Crystal Palace on Monday night.
“It’s crucial to still get the three points and build on it from there. I’m very happy to win, and I’m sure we’ll get better and better with every game,” he added.
“It was difficult, we had to dig deep and fight for it. When you come to Selhurst Park, you have to be able to suffer and we knew that. We did that brilliantly and we deserved the points.”
