Free degree courses for all transgender persons in BRAOU

As part of the Equal Opportunity Plan at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, making education inclusive for all, Vice Chancellor Ghanta Chakrapani on Sunday said that the university will offer free degree courses to all transgender individuals in the State. Under the scheme, starting this academic year, any transgender person with a 10+2 or equivalent of Intermediate education can join a degree course. A registration fee of ₹500 is compulsory. However, all tuition fees are waived. Additionally, the university will also provide course material and tools to access the various materials and platforms, free of cost.
