Woodlands Auditorium has been nominated for “Music Venue of the Year” by the Arkansas Country Music Awards, recognizing the venue’s growing reputation as a premier destination for live music and entertainment in Arkansas. The awards ceremony will be held June 1.

Tucked behind the gates of Hot Springs Village is what many concertgoers are beginning to discover what may be one of Arkansas’ best-kept entertainment secrets.

What was once primarily known as a community performance venue has evolved into a soughtafter concert destination featuring nationally recognized performers, acclaimed tribute acts, and a concert experience that regularly fills the venue’s 654 seats.

“We are honored to be recognized by the Arkansas Country Music Awards organization with this nomination,” said Hot Springs Village Parks and Recreation Director Terry Wiley. “This acknowledgment highlights the incredible performers, audiences, volunteers, and staff who continue to make Woodlands Auditorium a vibrant part of the Arkansas music scene.”

Recent performances have included country legends Lorrie Morgan and The Bellamy Brothers, along with soldout high-energy tribute productions celebrating the music of Bob Seger and Aerosmith. The venue’s concert series continues drawing audiences from across the region as word spreads about the unique entertainment experience inside the Village.

The 654-seat auditorium has undergone major upgrades in recent years, including professional concert lighting, laser light capabilities, enhanced sound and video production systems, and large-screen concert displays designed to create an immersive audience experience typically found in much larger venues.

While many people still assume the venue is only accessible to

Village residents, Wiley says one of his department’s goals is helping audiences beyond the Village’s gates throughout Arkansas discover

what has become one of the state’s standout live music venues. “You don’t have to live in the Village to come to any of our 50 concerts a year,” said

Wiley.

From nationally touring acts to world-class tribute performances and orchestral productions, Woodlands Auditorium

continues building a reputation proving that one of Arkansas’ most exciting music venues has been hiding in plain sight.
