Sheikh Mubarak holds fundraising ceremony for Ahl Masr Burns Hospital
Under the auspices of Sheikh Mubarak Abdullah AlMubarak Al-Sabah and with the attendance of the Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait, Tareq Al-Qouni the Ahl Masr (Egypt People) Development Establishment yesterday held a special ceremony at the Kuwait Four Seasons Hotel to highlight its projects and boost public awareness concerning the dangers of fires and burns.
The ceremony was also attended by a number of artists, diplomats and media figures.
Speaking on the occasion, Ahl Masr founder and head of board of trustees, Heba Al-Sowaidi said that the event is held in Kuwait to highlight the historic role model of Kuwait-Egyptian relations.
Further, Al-Sowaidi thanked Sheikh Mubarak for his support to the Ahl Masr Hospital for burns treatment for free adding that the hospital perceives burns from a humanitarian, legal and social perspective to preserve people’s right in decent safe life regardless of their financial statuses.
In addition, Al-Sowaidi stressed that Ahl Masr foundation was established in 2013 to be the first Non-Profit Organization in Egypt and the Middle East to focus on Burn Prevention and Treatment adding that, with its focus on building one of Egypt’s and the Middle East’s largest projects ever, Ahl Masr Non-profit Burn Hospital will be the world’s largest non-profit burn hospital located in Egypt and serving the Middle East and Africa to be built at New Cairo city on a built area of 45,500sq m, all fundraised and managed by Ahl Masr to face the growing need of specialized burn care in Egypt.
